Patrick Ward words, code, and music

About

Patrick Ward

I’m Patrick Ward, a programmer, system administrator, and writer from the suburbs of Tampa, Florida. This site is where I’ve chosen to share some of what I do. I write about programming, system administration, literature & the writing process, as well as occassional forays into music, the arts, and other sundries and whatnots.

I’ve been hacking at computers since the early 1980’s when the TRS-80 was still the rage — yes, monochrome monitors, BASIC programs, and cassette drives. I had my own company working as a freelance software developer in the late nineties before I joined TransWorld Diversified Services and Sensory 5, where I write custom applications and take care of the networks.
