I'm Patrick Ward, a programmer, system administrator, and novice writer from the suburbs of Tampa, Florida. This site is where I've chosen to share some of what I do. I write about programming, system administration, literature & the writing process, as well as occassional forays into music, the arts, and other sundries and whatnots.
I've been hacking at computers since the early 1980's when the TRS-80 was still the rage — yes, monochrome monitors, BASIC programs, and cassette drives. I had my own company working as a freelance software developer in the late nineties before I joined TransWorld Diversified Services and Sensory 5, where I write custom applications and take care of the networks.
I've combined all of my interests onto this one site. So, if you're only interested in my liberal arts side, you'll find a feed and blog listing under the Words & Ideas blog. If you're only interested in my technical side, I have a Code & Technology blog. There is also a separate page for my attempts at creating fictional stories.
